Click for vCardNancy McCarty is a Senior Manager in True Partners Consulting’s Washington, D.C. office. She has 25 years of corporate tax and accounting experience, including over 18 years of transaction and property tax experience in the telecommunications industry.

Prior to joining True Partners Consulting, Ms. McCarty was Director, Consumption Taxes and Tax Systems, at Verizon Business. In that capacity, she was responsible for tax billing, exemptions, compliance, audit defense, accounting, and Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Prior to becoming a Director, she gained expertise in federal, state, and local transaction taxes, unclaimed property compliance, tax billing and billing systems conversions, systimplementations, property tax compliance, and tax accounting in Senior Manager, Manager, and Analyst positions. Before joining Verizon Business, she held accounting positions in retail and utility companies.

Ms. McCarty received her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Accounting from West Virginia University and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from the University of Maryland.
