Mr. Bennecke is a Managing Director in True Partners Consulting’s Chicago office where he manages the tax compliance and consulting for large and mid-size multinational corporate entities, S Corporations, partnerships, and individuals. He has an extensive professional background, which includes over 19 years of experience in both public accounting and industry. Prior to joining True Partners Consulting, he was a Senior Manager with the Lead Tax Services practice of Deloitte Tax, LLP in Chicago.
In addition to managing tax compliance and consulting for his clients, he is involved in FAS 109 / ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes consulting, Tax Provision Automation, Due Diligence, Federal Tax Planning, and Audit Defense.
Mr. Bennecke is the Firms Accounting for Income Taxes, and Tax Reporting and Compliance service line leader and is a member of the Firms accounting periods and methods team. In addition to these roles he is actively involved in the firm wide training and recruiting initiatives.
In addition to his client service responsibilities, he is a regular speaker and contributor to organizations such as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (A.I.C.P.A.), American Accounting Association, Tax Executives Institute (T.E.I.), and various internal and external seminars.
Mr. Bennecke received his Bachelor of Science degree from DePaul University, and his Master of Jurisprudence degree in Business Law (Taxation focus) from Loyola University, School of Law. He is a member of The City Club of Chicago, The Chicago Tax Club, Tax Section member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA),the National Association of Tax Practitioners (NATP),and is an Enrolled Agent with the Department of Treasury—Internal Revenue Service. He is a current board member of The Cara Program and the Chairman of their Finance Committee a non-for-profit benefitting Chicago’s homeless and adults in transition by providing educational training and permanent job placement, and is a Bard Circle Patron of Chicago’s Shakespeare Theatre.
