Ron L. Tambasco is a Managing Director for True Partners Consulting’s Tampa office. He has a wide range of experience dealing with state and local tax issues including corporate income and franchise taxes, sales and use taxes, property taxes, gross receipt taxes, and payroll taxes. Mr. Tambasco has extensive experience with developing and implementing integrated tax planning solutions for corporations. He also has experience representing companies before state tax authorities and administrative boards and advising clients on state tax aspects in merger and acquisition transactions.
 
Prior to joining True Partners, Mr. Tambasco worked for 16 years in the state and local tax consulting group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Most recently at PwC, he was the practice leader for the state and local tax group in north Florida. Mr. Tambasco worked for another Big Four accounting firm before that time.
 
Mr. Tambasco received a Masters of Accounting with an emphasis in tax from Brigham Young University in 1991 and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida in 1989.  He holds a license as a Certified Public Accountant in Florida, North Carolina and Virginia.
