Wayne Trumbull is a Managing Director in True Partners Consulting’s New York Metro area office. His practice focuses on state and local income and sales tax matters.

Wayne’s experience includes extensive tax restructuring implementations, review and analysis of state tax implications of proposed business reorganizations, analysis of state tax filings for refunds and favorable filing positions, and representing clients in state tax controversy matters. Wayne also provides extensive sales and use tax consulting and representation services.

Wayne has over 15 years of state tax and client service experience. Prior to joining True Partners Consulting Wayne spent 10 years in the state and local tax practice Ernst & Young, LLP and was one of the founding partners of Affinity Tax Group, a highly successfully boutique tax practice specializing in complex federal and state tax matters.

Wayne earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Adelphi University and Juris Doctorate from Pace University School of Law. Wayne is a member of the New York and Connecticut bar
