Al H. Schwarz is a Senior Manager in True Partners Consulting’s Tampa office specializing in real and personal property taxation. He has advised clients regarding property tax and valuation issues for over nine years. He has represented Fortune 500 companies consisting of large manufacturers, retail companies and complex properties, including airlines, telecommunications, public utilities, mining, and gaming operations. He has also been involved in property tax strategic reviews as a result of entity restructuring and reorganization.

Prior to joining True Partners Consulting, Mr. Schwarz was a local government attorney specializing in eminent domain and property valuation litigation, including order of taking hearings and jury trials. As part of his role as a litigation attorney, he was involved in real property acquisition, construction and engineering issue resolution, real and personal property appraisal review, as well as business valuation report analysis. He also worked at two Big Four accounting firms in Chicago serving as a Manager in property tax where he was involved in multiple complete complex property tax outsourcing engagements, including real and personal property tax negotiation, appeals, hearings, incentives, and compliance.

Mr. Schwarz earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, and his Juris Doctorate cum laude from the University of Illinois School of Law. He is a licensed attorney in the states of Florida, Illinois, and California. He is also a member of the Tax Section of the California and Florida Bar associations.
