Andrew Heinlein is a Senior Manager in True Partners Consulting’s Chicago office. He has over six years of extensive tax consulting and compliance experience.

Mr. Heinlein specializes in corporate taxation, assisting clients with federal income tax issues. He is experienced in income tax compliance, accounting for income taxes, business formations, acquisitions, restructurings and various other areas of federal income tax consulting. Mr. Heinlein advises clients in a variety of industries including professional sports, technology, wine, beer and spirits distribution, real estate management and banking.

He is recognized as a firm-wide leader in servicing clients with net operating loss or tax credit carryovers. Specifically, he is an expert in completing Section 382 studies in order to comply with IRS regulations and financial reporting requirements. He works closely with his clients and their auditors to obtain the most advantageous outcome available under the tax laws. He has presented on important Section 382 issues and planning opportunities to audiences in Chicago, IL and San Jose, CA.

Recently, he has focused a portion of his practice on the firm’s Emerging Business Services initiative. He represents early stage and other promising businesses with high growth potential so that they may comply with the range of complex tax laws. As their advocate, he enables the entrepreneurs and management to spend their valuable time on generating ideas and operating the business.

Prior to True Partners, Mr. Heinlein worked as a tax consultant for Deloitte Tax, LLP. There he assisted wealthy individuals and executives with income and gift tax return preparation as well as personal financial planning.

Mr. Heinlein received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Master of Science in Accountancy degrees from University of Notre Dame. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society, and the Chicago Tax Club. He serves on the Board of Specified Jurisdiction for Saint Ann School in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago and is a participant in the Emerging Leaders Group of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce.
