David Wang, CMI, is a Manager at True Partners Consulting in Chicago, Illinois. With over 11 years of experience, Mr. Wang specializes in valuation analysis for personal and real property tax assessment compliance and appeals. He has focused on serving taxpayers in industries such as telecommunication, public utility, manufacturing and retail. He serves his clients by providing property tax planning and compliance services, real and personal property consulting, audit support, and appeal and litigation services.

Mr. Wang spent the first 8 years of his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and served as a manager before he joined True Partners Consulting in April of 2009.

Mr. Wang has been a speaker at the Institute for Professionals in Taxation’s Annual Conference and he has assisted in lecturing on property tax at DePaul University. He has spoken at various student business organizations at the University of Illinois, such as speaking annually to the incoming class at the Beta Alpha Psi business fraternity.

Mr. Wang received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. He became a Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation with a property tax designation in the summer of 2007.
