Jana Grossenbacher a Senior Manager in True Partners Tampa office has over twelve years experience in state and local taxation. She specializes in transactional type taxes but continues to work with clients in the areas of income, franchise taxes and personal property taxes.

Jana’s industry focus has been in telecommunications, electric utilities, healthcare, manufacturing, and hospitality. Her prior experience included approximately seven years working at a Big Four accounting firm and two years overseeing the tax and accounting functions at a co-location provider.

Jana successfully completed a variety of state tax projects including restructurings, mergers, acquisitions, sales tax compliance systems as well as system studies, numerous audit defense/protests and penalty abatement proceedings, voluntary disclosures and reverses sales and use tax audits. She also has experience managing the sales and use process for multiple multi-state organizations.

Jana has spoken at industry as well as national state tax seminars. She has designed and taught several courses in the area of state and local taxation. Jana completed her Bachelor of Science from Florida Southern College and received her Masters of Accountancy from University of South Florida. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
