Myer Blank is a Senior Manager in True Partners Consulting’s Chicago office in the Property Tax service line.  Prior to joining True Partners Consulting, Mr. Blank was the Executive Director of the Chicago Tax Assistance Center since 2001, a City of Chicago service center that assists homeowners with property tax appeals, exemptions, and refunds.  As part of his responsibilities, he testified before state and local committees on tax policy.  In addition to his work in the area of property taxes, Mr. Blank managed the City of Chicago’s free income tax clinics that focused on assisting residents in obtaining the Earned Income Tax Credit.  Before working for the city, Mr. Blank was Director of Policy Analysis for The Civic Federation, a local taxpayer watchdog group.

Mr. Blank has a Masters of Arts in Public Policy Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Chicago.
