Perry LaBoone is a Senior Manager in True Partners Consulting Chicago office. He has over 26 years experience in project management, software development and business process engineering.

Mr. LaBoone has extensive experience in the design, development and transition of accounting and tax software solutions using structured methodologies. He has also accompanied these technical/functional skills with strong project management skills.

Prior to joining True Partners Consulting, Mr. LaBoone was a Senior Director with Avanade Consulting. While there Mr. LaBoone was the Delivery Management Practice Director for the South Region responsible for project and engagement management. This required the development and implementation of PMI-based process models, standardized project templates/controls and assets to automate the collection and reporting of project statistics. In this capacity, Perry worked closely with the project managers and software developers to use enabling technologies and assets to create integrated solutions and provide business value for Fortune 500 corporations.

Before Avanade, Mr. LaBoone was a Senior Manager in Arthur Andersen’s Tax Technology Group. At Arthur Andersen, he was involved in the design and development of both client server and enterprise applications for use by the Arthur Andersen practice offices and their customer base. Additionally he has worked for SUN Microsystems, regional consulting firms and the Department of Defense as a Senior Executive.

Mr. LaBoone received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida, Master of Science Degree in Computer Engineering from Florida Atlantic University, Master of Business Administration from the University of North Florida and Master of Accountancy from the University of North Florida. Additionally, he is a Registered Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), certified Project Manager Professional (PMI-PMP) and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP.) Mr. LaBoone has received extensive specialized training in the Oracle and Microsoft suite of software products and a variety of development methodologies including; Rational Unified Process, Agile, and Microsoft Solutions Framework.
