Steve Kaye is a Manager in True Partners Consulting’s Chicago office. His background includes managing real estate tax assessment appeals, personal property compliance, complex property compliance, and filing personal property tax appeals for big-box retailers, manufactures, telecommunication companies, and airlines. Mr. Kaye has worked with True Partners Consulting’s clients to perfect obsolescence claims in support of a lower assessed valuation and assist with audit defense in relation to personal property compliance.

Prior to True Partners Consulting, Mr. Kaye was a Senior Tax Consultant at Deloitte Tax where he primarily focused on the personal property compliance of regional air carriers.

Mr. Kaye earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation.
