Tom DeCamp is a Manager in True Partners Consulting’s Tampa office with more than 12 years of experience in the public accounting industry.  He has served clients that are both publicly-traded and privately-held in various industries, including manufacturing, technology, real estate development, retail and professional service firms.
 
Before joining True Partners, Mr. DeCamp was a Manager at Grant Thornton, LLP.  While there, he was responsible for tax compliance, consulting services and tax planning for multiple clients.
 
Mr. DeCamp has extensive experience in various consultation projects focusing on FASB Statement 109 tax provision preparation and review, tax department outsourcing, research and analysis of items subject to the provisions of FIN 48 and implementation of the requirements of FASB Statement 123R.  He is also involved with the review and preparation of federal and state income and franchise tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals and trusts.  Additionally, his experience includes projects related to compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, multi-state tax planning and tax implications of corporate formation and reorganization.
 
Mr. DeCamp received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Kent State University.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
