Wendy Hurst is a Senior Manager in True Partners Consulting’s San Jose office with over 11 years of experience working in public accounting and industry. She has consulted on a wide variety of corporate tax planning and compliance issues, including FAS 109, transfer pricing, mergers and acquisitions, multi-state tax, international tax, property tax, payroll tax, sales and use tax, and research and development credit.

Prior to joining True Partners Consulting, Ms. Hurst was with Jefferson Wells International as an Engagement Manager and prior to Jefferson, she was with BDO Seidman as a Senior Tax Manager.

Some of her key accomplishments include being a Tax Manager for a NASDAQ company with nexus in over 20 countries and 40 states; transfer pricing and the facilitation of the internal audit for the company; FAS 109, both review and preparation of tax provision calculation and disclosures; Sarbanes Oxley compliance and control on tax reporting; intellectual property structuring; mergers and acquisitions, assisting with the analysis of tax implications of transactions and with due diligence reviews to assess tax exposure on potential acquisitions; and tax audits, assisting in income, franchise, sales and use, payroll, Canadian GST and QST, including responding to tax authorities.

Ms. Hurst received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration of Accounting from San Francisco State University.
